Based on what I see from the Line conversations, @paul8691 tried to scam, since he didn't answer back about taking a leave. @paul8691 have time to change the account details/information and "upgrade" stuff on the account, but no time to send payment? I don't know if Playerup have any policy about manipulating account, but I don't think they can do anything about it since this was not dealt through the PlayerUp Middleman system. We'll see how @Admin handles this.

I believe, the only thing that can stop this dispute is for @paul8691 to pay @Rapaz original price and receive the account.

According to your logic @paul8691 I should have waited one day after you changed the account details and just sit idle while you changed the details and ignored the payment request, in fact you keep saying that you were going to pay yet the payment request was sent on the 3rd of september right after I sent you the details of the account, as agreed to the email provided by you, yet it is still pending. So that there are no doubts of that I send the picture to prove it in attachment.

Basically here are the ways to resolve this. Choose from these options:

1). A negative feedback should be issued to @paul8691 for backing out of the sale. Both parties go their separate ways. We'll give @Rapaz 5 PlayerUp Credits even though we have nothing to do with this dispute. Credits would just be a way to help you out since @paul8691 has done transactions with us securely through middleman services and we'll use some of that to compensate you.

2). @paul8691 pays him compensation of a small amount to offset the misprofiled account and you go separate ways.

3). @paul8691 you continue with the sale and honor the original agreement.

Those are 3 suggestions and if you have more proposals you can present them here.

@Admin I feel that the negative feedback isn't a proper punishment: I suggested using the middleman services and @paul8691 conviced me to not do so, I only trusted because it was a verified member status, unfortunately this user abused that status and not only tried to hijack the account but also changed the account status.

I'm in the process of reseting the account's ID unfortunately this isn't a guarantee that he no longer has access to it.

We can't force the buyer to commit to this sale. Obviously the consumer has the right to refund a purchase which he is doing here which is why a negative feedback seemed like a fair proposition since he used the account and backed out. If he didn't use the account then a cancel sale and go your desperate ways would have been suitable. Also requested alternative proposals and then we can look into these as well.

I agree we can't force anyone to anything, it seems what in the end will be suitable is option 1), however I believe this particular user having verified status might mislead other sellers in the future, I question that status. Because in the end a negative feedback is nothing but a -1 on his profile. And I think it is unquestionable that he was ill intended, gladly though he backed up after he found this post out.

@Admin How do we wrap this up then? I assume that your answer to my previous message will be that you cannot do anything else beside the negative feedback. Which is a pity other users might fall into the trap.

We can't remove his Verified Status because he is Verified. It means he completed verification on our end. Just like PayPal can't remove Verified Status if the buyer is fraudulent. Like PayPal we can limit or suspend someone if they're suspected fraud but he didn't fraud you and he doesn't have any past problems besides this one.

I'm not 100% sure why he backed out of the sale, I'm sure there is more to it or maybe he just wasn't interested in the account anymore but he did return the item. Recommendation in the future is use a middleman to ensure this doesn't happen. You can also ask for a deposit of a small %. You can also put security on the account to easily reset it if the buyer doesn't return it.

Other than that, we can't really do much more because he did do the right thing and returned it and the situation could have been much worse than this.

That's pretty much what I assumed. And besides unathorized tampering of the account and temporarly hijacking the password nothing fraudlent was commited. In the end this mechanism safeguarded the possession of the account and your help mediating this process was much apreciated.
Please proceed with the option number 1 giving the user the negative feedback and I'll gladly take those credits as compensation of my account loss of status.
Summing up lesson learned and in the sale process zero trust is needed.

    Credits Added.

You will have to issue the other party a negative feedback. You on the other hand should receive no feedback for this transaction.
