Sold Why does deleting an account require two requests?

    So I decided to delete my account. I am on iOS, so the app has a link to delete the account. I went through and put in the verification code etc then it pops up a message saying I have to redo the whole delete request again within 7 to 30 days after.

    I guess I will have to set a reminder to come back and do it, but why does it require two requests? I would like to just do it once and be done.
