I'm just wondering.. Taekkyon seems fast and attacks more. But Muay Thai seems balanced... I'm about to buy a scroll, between those two, which one do you think i should get? and if you explain that'll be great. Trust me...muay thai is better. Taekyon is basicly Taekwondo with different motions.... Im lvl 30 right now, and I have been using muay thai from lvl 14. Now I have shoot boxing yep...so...taekyon.....is bad...here's my thoughts Taekyon +delayable last kick - REPETITIVE -predictable - punches dont knock down Muay thai +knocks over fences + reallly fast kicks (faster than taekyon) +good for edging +good drifiting scroll - damage is low IMO, Mao is the best carat scroll. Great angle and greater knock-back. Easily spammable. muay - weak by itself better for edging due to its hit over fence and angling and delay properties (great kicks and punches gives it different combos for different situations (great in maps such as moon and dos) mao- overall great scroll - can drift easily and crowd control and in 1v1, can delay and very versatile and also good at angling and edging(2 hit short angling combo) and can avoid situations with pounce Great range too I suggest mao, but they are both great if used properly (also mao is in top teir while mt is in middle-top) Edit: tky is not much better than tkd, it bores really fast and all u can do is delay spam 2 weak punches do little also and tkd is much more spammable ztkd is much much better version of this. Every aspect of this scroll is upgraded (delays , # of kick inputs, damage, juggle , punches) it is incomplete in my opinion DeltaRecruit added 15 Minutes and 10 Seconds later... tky does have good points as it had incredible delay on its last kick and has a effect of instant recovery when it collides with a. First punch like Ztkd and kicks cannot be blocked after first hit , It is not that weak at all (and also had good priority on its kicks) Thanks for your suggestions. But LagNotGlitch mentioned Mao Gong too, and Delta also agreed. Well.. i guess i'll just work up another 2k and get mao gong. One question though, what about Shaolin, it's also 29k... TKY owns if you use it correctly. You can really play with someones mind using that delay. ok ppl who said mt has low dmg??? are u crazy???? for the ppl who have "low" str yes dmg is low and mao is also predictable but u can ezily get tired of it and shao is also a good scroll with its knockbacks but hands down muay can own any scroll mentioned here if used correctly mts 3 hit weak combo (starts with punch and can be blocked) does 395 base damage (not the pppk, that does 380) its Kick combo does 360 tky does 435 with its kicks (cannot be blocked after First hit) ztkd does 496, juggle 666 mao's kick and punch combo both do over 420 damage and it can pounce and move a lot. Mao drifters are very hard to beat thank realus for the damage compilation DeltaRecruit added 4 Minutes and 4 Seconds later... shao and mao are some of the hardest styles for me to fight, and I've been playing this since last august shao is very very spammy and it angles like a god in maps like moonlight mt I think is an ok scroll. I only think its best point is Its pppk fence lifter DeltaRecruit added 10 Minutes and 20 Seconds later... (when combined with delay and knocback and angling its a good edging scroll but it lacks straighforward fighting properties In mao and shao) DeltaRecruit added 12 Minutes and 24 Seconds later... as a side note, shidokan is a cheaper alternative to shao,with similar properties that make it just as formidable as shao if ur meaning normal taekkyon, then its Muay Thai all the way! if ur meaning Zin and Muay Thai , get Zin. muay thai cause i have used it all the time in rumble, and I can own taekkyon/mao/shao. you just need to use it correctly. + im a mt fighter in real life, and it owns but that's my choice overall i played this game so i can use mt, lmao.
