I don't know where to begin with this Xbox. It's been through hell and back. But it's working. As you can tell by the pictures, it's a bit of a mess. The way you see it is the way it works. Let me explain. For whatever reason, the IDE cable that plugs into the hard drive has to be stretched some. If it gets tangled or is tightly squeezed in the bay, you may boot to the 07 error. I don't know why that is, but perhaps a new cable would fix this problem. When the cable is working properly, the Xbox boots into the dashboard and is able to do what you want to it. I upgraded the stock hard drive to a Western Digital 160gb. It is already formatted with the correct C, E, F&G partitions. I do have a few games and emulators on it like emustation.
