So some days ago i bought a sony camera for about 200$ and i wanted to refund it with the empty box method , because where i am they always request the sign. Today i contacted amazon and the first rep told me that he had to transfer the message to another department . After that the new rep have not even asked me if the package was tempered and , after some checks , he sayed that the weight of the package was about 1kg in the amazon department and also from the courrier so he told me that he need a police recipt in order to continue with the process. So i just told him that my sister just pranked me and she closed everything without more investigating. The question is , how can i do now in order to get the refund without need to send it back ?
