Selling Street Date broken for almost all new DVDs & Blu-Rays (Walgreens) YMMV

I'm not really sure if it constitutes as a "deal", but it's still great if you can't wait to get your hands on the new Captain America movie. Over the past few years, I've noticed my local Walgreens has been selling new movies at least 1 - 1.5 weeks before the official street date. CA:tWS has a street date of 9/9 but I have it in hand now (having paid MSRP) as of 8/31. YMMV obviously

depends. for asm2 we were selling the blu ray dvd for 19.99, sometimes it goes for 22.99 and sometimes 24.99.

Interesting....I'm good though I can wait till SD and get it cheaper then have it right now.

our store only got the dvd as well. it's weird because spiderman 2 was blu ray only for us

I checked my store yesterday- no luck at all. It's just as well, though, as I'm after the 3D version, and Walgreen's probably won't carry it. If they do, it will probably be selling for way more than any other store has it next week.

one thing for sure is we won't get 3d of anything at least in my district because no one would buy it with the extreme price. So its blu ray dvd pack or just dvd pack.
