    Not sure what good this will do as he can just change name and do it again. Ultimately it is my own fault for now reading the directions clearly, I misunderstood about the email part. So I'm dumb and he has my account. Yay.

      so do they change password once you send info in while they verify?

    No, I have not got my account back. Other than submit a ticket with Hive, I would not know how to get it back.
