The time to complete will increase as higher the rank is.
Bronze To Silver: $1.13 Per 50 SR
Silver To Gold: $1.89 Per 50 SR
Gold To Plat: $3.00 Per 50 SR
Plat To Diamond: $5.66 Per 50 SR

Right now I am a mid/ high Diamond player so I can possibly try and go Plat to Diamond though at that point it will be a bit harder and will take more time. Should take about 1-5 days depending on what rank and how much spare time I have unless you choose Plat-Diamond where I'm assuming it would take 3 days to 2 weeks if I am having bad games with throwers.
