[mod] Because save files are not accessible without third party software, it can be tricky to tell what is and isn't acceptable. For this reason we have added an excerpt to rule 2. Saves must be unedited, created without using cheat codes/hacking devices, and must be 100% legal when using an emulator (with disclosure). 1) Saves being unedited means you cannot change a save from one version to another, change your trainer's name/IDs, change your character's location in game, etc. 2) Saves cannot be created with the assistance of cheat codes/hacking devices to help you skip cutscenes, walk through walls, warp to different areas, etc. 3) When offering saves, they must be 100% legal. This is especially tricky when using emulators. While the Pokemon games may run alright with minimal setup, you need to dump system archives for them to generate all their data correctly. If this is not done properly, the saves may have inconsequential illegal data, but illegal data nonetheless.
