I have only ever bought one account, which I bought back in late 2018. The thing is, this account did not come with access to the email. I know now to never buy an account without the promise of full email access, but surprisingly the original owner has never tried to pull the account from me or done anything on it in the 5 years that I've had it. I have seen people who lost access to the original connected email to their accounts say they were able to get the email changed by contacting Epic support. However, I have also seen people say to never contact Epic on a bought account whatsoever because they will detect that the account was bought and ban you, but would this still be a concern after 5 years? I would be very disappointed if this account were to get banned as it has Black Knight on it, and I also still use my main account with thousands put into it on the same internet which I would not want to risk getting banned either. Could I be successful in getting the account's email changed by contacting Epic support without risking getting banned? The reason I want to change the email in the first place is, the previous owner had linked their Xbox account, and while I can use the account on other platforms just fine, I want to use it on Xbox, and it isn't possible to truly unlink the old Xbox account without getting a code from the email. A darker route, but haveibeenpwned.com says the email has been in 5 data breaches if it would be possible to gain access to the original email through those means somehow. I have no idea if the original email is still in use or not TLDR: If I bought an account back in late 2018 without full email access, would there still be risk in getting banned if I tried to contact Epic support to change the email? # #/Fortnite-Fan69 . .
