Stole Account Question

    I recently posted an thread to sell an account. The Middleman said someone paid and i sent the account details, after that the middleman said that i have to wait up to 24 hours.
    But i don't know why, it's something spooky and i am afraid i got scammed because in the thread the middleman didn't posted anything. Can you check that payment ?

    Not 100% sure who you spoke with. We @Middleman never opened a ticket with you. PlayerUp Middleman Services only has 1 account for Middleman Services and that is this account I am replying with you now.

    Do you use K,I,K, Skype, or another messenger service?
    No. All middleman transactions are done through PlayerUp.com for security reasons. Anyone who attempts to contact you through a 3rd party messenger claiming they are us is fraudulent.

    When should I release my account information to the buyer?

    Never release your account information unless (@Middleman) contacts you through the PlayerUp Conversation Ticket System. We will never contact you through e-mail, K,I,K, skype, or any 3rd party service. All middleman transactions are done through PlayerUp.com for security reasons.

    Here is how our process works:

    How does it work?
    1). Sellers create and post middleman buy now listings (click here)
    2). Buyer clicks on buy now listing and completes payment
    3). We verify and secure the buyers payment
    4). We create a 3 way conversation ticket with the Buyer and Seller
    5). We inform the Seller which specific account information they need to release to the Buyer
    6). During this process, we will communicate and guide both the Buyer and Seller.
    7). Buyer secures and verifies the account
    8). Payment is then disbursed to the Seller

    The scammer had an account name similar with the official Middleman, i am new so i didnt knew exactly how this works here. Can i know if the buyer submited the payment? I need a solution fast

    You have nothing to say? I lost 100$ because you couldn't put a **&&cking filter to not let scammers register with Middlename like username

    Moving this to the disputes section since this isn't a middleman related issue. There is actually a filter setup but the user *Middleman* has 0 posts and signed up 2 days ago. The system automatically banned him after making it's run.

    Recommendation now is contact the game publisher and recall the account. If you need help, we will provide a link and guide.

    Additionally the guy had no badges, nothing that mentioned her was a moderator or admin. I'm not 100% sure why you thought he was a middleman agent.

    I am using this platform for the first time, how should i know how Middleman account looks like or anything ?
    And what should i say to the game publisher? Hey fellows, i tried to sell my account ( which is against their rules) and i got scammed because that filter is bullshit ?

    Using vulgar language is prohibited on this site. If you're going to continue to use it as a way to attack us when we weren't directly involved then we'll have to lock this ticket down as you can't remain professional enough for us to assist you.

    Right at the top it says

    It doesn't mention anything about some random member who signed up claiming to be a middleman being a member of this company. Regardless, your next step is to contact the game publisher and get back the account. If you need help with that, we can assist you. That's all that can be done here unless you have the persons name and address.

    Hello, I have the same situation, the mediator said that the money will come in 24 hours, and the next day it was banned, this site will help me get an account?

    Like what I suggested before from another thread that had the same issue with this one, pre-create all possible names that are very close to @Middleman , scammers sometimes add special characters that isn't very noticeable and may lead to victimizing new members that doesn't have any knowledge about the real @Middleman .

    I would do this suggestion myself if its not only violating your policy which is 1 account per person.

    Other ideas that comes to my mind are either adding a page where all your official-site staffs are listed or put up a more noticeable warnings or alert so that all new members knows may prevent being scammed.
