This is a question for the PayPal experts.

Purchased an expensive item on eBay paying using PayPal of course. Cost was 2000 Euros. Seller put 600Euros as valuation to

The item arrived very late and when I took it to the jeweller we have discovered it was a very well made and almost indistinguishable fake.

    Here is my dilemma

The tracking number still says the watch is in transit somewhere between Europe and Australia. It has been a few days since the package arrived to the office where I work. Nobody signed for it as the seller used an economic parcel to send it.

    1. Regarding PayPal - do I claim that I never received it to make it easier OR do I file a claim saying that I received a fake item submitting proofs etc

    2. Do I ask my bank to dispute a credit card payment to PayPal claiming either I didn't receive the item or it is fake depending how I claim with paypal?

    Many thanks!
