    I don't know why people don't use middleman for safe transaction. They only realise after getting scammed.

    They charge a small fee which is needed to protect the buyer and seller ensuring the seller receives a guaranteed payment. It's impossible to offer a free service. You can also add more to the total to cover this if fees are such a big deal but then of course you risk losing the buyer.

    You have to ultimately decide:

    1). You pay a small fee and receive something or
    2). Pay no fees and possibly lose everything

    The same applies for any other industry. A middleman is needed worldwide across almost every industry to ensure the transaction goes smoothly.

    Buy from a grocery store, the store is your middleman.
    Buy from a convenient store, the store is your middleman.
