Playerup.com having touble loading up (sometimes slow)

    Hello,

    Just wanted to inform you that playerup is having some trouble loading up and sometimes slow and laggy. I currently know its not my internet connection due to everything else I search or website I go on loads perfectly fine. Just trying to help maybe there's something you guys can fix about it. I could possible help.

    Just thought Id bring it to there attention because I personally did not know they were aware of this because whenever I do try to get on the site has trouble loading up.

    In the future I would suggest to have at least a construction logo on the front page so everyone will be aware on the ongoing update/ or troubleshooting.

    Also @Admin @Middleman I sometimes do not get pms that are sent to me or when im trying to pm someone keeps disconnecting me saying im offline.

    We'll be addressing this issue further today, making likely upgrades down the road to offset these issues. We are dissapointed we had such a large downtime, the largest ever since it's initial launch. We'll make preparations to ensure this doesn't happen again in the future.

    Here is what we plan to do here:
    • We're going to start running PlayerUp through a proxy soon. We'll continue to mitigation fighting attacks through our server setup but will also seek aid from a proxy service that filters these type of attacks. The ETA on when we plan to implement this has not been set.
    • We'll likely plan to do a server upgrade soon. There will be some downtime when this happens. If we do move forward with an upgrade, it will be sometime within the next 45 days. We'll make announcements in the News and Announcements section in advance.
