Step # 1 Visit Plantronics website and choose the item you want to SE, the good stuff is under Gaming or Music and Entertainment the rest is business & enterprise level stuff. *MAKE SURE THE ITEM YOU CHOOSE IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT YOUR COUNTRY'S AMAZON* Step # 2 Using an Amazon receipt generator of your choice generate a receipt that corresponds with an actual Amazon item from Plantronics if a product page for the item your SE'ing does not exist this will not work! Make order date within 6 months old but older than 30 days. Step # 3 Create an Account. Step # 4 Register your product and provide a screenshot of the fake receipt you made when prompted. Step # 5 On the customer account page press "Request Warranty Replacement" and select from a list of registered products which you would like to replace. Step # 6 Set claim quantity to 1 and problem type to Dead Unit, Leave case number and Purchase order number empty, you can use your real address to ship to, have never heard that they bill. Step # 7 Wait until you receive an email saying your claim was accepted and the headset will be shipped out soon and call Plantronics (Don't email) and tell them you just read over their refund rules and it says you need to return the defective unit , at this point you need to use your creativity say something like "I gave the headphones to a electronics recycling plant" or any other valid reason. The representative will most likely do 2 things either say it is okay and from now on you will be put on a black list and they will no longer do advance replacements for you or the representative will say he cant do this now you have two options ask to speak to a manager and he/she will do it for you OR hang up and re dial and get a new representative to talk to and eventually you will find someone that will do it for you.
