Stole Money Nikolt - Scam Fraud

    So a few days ago, i made a deal with nikolt. They were verefied and only interested in dealing through playerup, etc.
    So i believed that "middlemanup" was the middleman, and we did the transaction through him. So we went through the nornal process, but its been a few days now and middlemanup is banned, nikolt is supended even though he has my account, and i have not gotten the money.
    Have i been scammed?

    Update : After some talking, Nikolt does not have the account.
    The middlemanup scammed us both i guess. He has both the account and the money.
    I am furious. I have worked for a dedicated two years on my clash of clans, only to be scammed out of it by the middleman.
    Is there any way for us to both retrieve what we gave to the middleman?

    First off, I'm sorry to hear you got scammed by an unknown 4th party.
    • @Nikolt is the same person as @MiddlemanUp and our system auto banned @MiddlemanUp and suspended @Nikolt

    • When should I release my account information to the buyer? Never release your account information unless (@Middleman) contacts you through the PlayerUp Conversation Ticket System. We will never contact you through e-mail, kik, skype, or any 3rd party service. All middleman transactions are done through PlayerUp.com for security reasons.
    • @MiddlemanUp had no badge, signed up just this week, and we received no communication that you were doing business with him.
    At this point, the only way you'll get the account back is recovering it. Depending if it's an iOS or Android Account, we can assist you with this.

    Oh. i have to say that is very frustrating.
    It is for ios. Would you be able to assist in tbe recovery?
    They have changed a lot for the account (security questions, birthday, email, etc)

    This is why it's always best to process through the actual PlayerUp Middleman Service.

    Please provide us actual information on what you need from us. Please note that since this didn't go through our actual PlayerUp Middleman Service, we are limited. We can provide pointers and helpful directions on who to contact but we can't directly get involved with communications with Apple and Supercell as this is a non-middleman related transaction. We can't actually fight back or provide any actual guarantee as well since this isn't a middleman related transaction.

    We're limited but we'll see what we can do.

    i am aware, i thought i was dealing with the actual middleman. Thats why i actually did the deal.
    I understand. I will contact Apple as soon as i can and try to work it out. I appreciate your cooperation.

    It's tough because people continue to try to come up with clever ways to scam people. Just always remember to follow these guidelines:

    How does it work?
    1). Sellers create and post middleman buy now listings (click here)
    2). Buyer clicks on buy now listing and completes payment
    3). We verify and secure the buyers payment
    4). We create a 3 way conversation ticket with the Buyer and Seller
    5). We inform the Seller which specific account information they need to release to the Buyer
    6). During this process, we will communicate and guide both the Buyer and Seller.
    7). Buyer secures and verifies the account
    8). Payment is then disbursed to the Seller

    When should I release my account information to the buyer?
    Never release your account information unless (@Middleman) contacts you through the PlayerUp Conversation Ticket System. We will never contact you through e-mail, kik, skype, or any 3rd party service. All middleman transactions are done through PlayerUp.com for security reasons.
