Quick Summary: This mod adds five new ores and a GUI (Graphical User Interface): Emerald, amethyst, citrine, sapphire, death quartz, and gem cleaner. All five gems can be used to create armor and tools. I’m in the process of adding more gems to this mod, but until then, there are only five. I hope you like it! If not, please give me constructive criticism so I can improve this mod. Emerald - Speed: As fast as stone tools. Duration: 1,650 uses. Rarity: As rare as gold. Quantity dropped: One gem per ore. Hardness: A little easier to break than stone. Special attributes: No special attributes. Amethyst - Speed: As fast as diamond tools. Duration: 150 uses. Rarity: Less common than iron, but more common than gold. Quantity dropped: One gem per ore. Hardness: As hard as redstone. Special attributes: No special attributes. Citrine - Speed: Slower than diamond tools, but faster than iron tools. Duration: 600 uses. Rarity: As rare as redstone. Quantity dropped: One gem per ore. Hardness: As hard as stone. Special attributes: No special attributes. Sapphire - Speed: As fast as iron tools. Duration: 800 uses. Rarity: As rare as diamond. Quantity dropped: Two to four gems per ore. Hardness: As hard as pumpkins. Special attributes: No special attributes. Death Quartz - Speed: As fast as iron tools. Duration: 1,000 uses. Rarity: Hard to measure, about as rare as gold maybe. Quantity dropped: One to two gems per ore. Hardness: As hard as stone. Special attributes: Deals extra damage, spawns in the nether. Recipes: Death Arrow -Recipe:XMXXNXXOX Death Bow -Recipe:XMOMXOXMO Gem Cleaner: M = Death Quartz N = Stick O = Feather Description: An arrow which deals 3.5 hearts of damage, rather than 2. O = String M = Death Quartz Description: A bow used to shoot death arrows or normal arrows. Only death bows can shoot death arrows. Gem Cleaner -Recipe:MOM MMM MMM M = Wooden Plank O = Wet Towel Description: A GUI that is like a furnace, and is used to clean dirty gems (see below). Summary – A GUI similar to the furnace used to clean dirty gems. Dirty gems drop from gem ores, and there is a chance clean gems will drop in place of them. Fuels – As of now, there are seven fuels for the gem cleaner. Two of which, are only obtainable with inventory editors. I’ll keep those ones, and another one, secret ;D. If anyone finds them out, comment, and I’ll add them to the list. Wet Towel: Cleans 10 gems. Towel: Cleans 6 gems. Bucket of Water: Cleans 2 gems. Snowball: Cleans half a gem.
