This guy is a 100% SCAM! A Smart one as well...
Not to worry, I have 90% of it back. Still fighting on the 2k side
    HERE is how it works....
I did this deal with him. Through Cash app and texting. He was VERY sincere. Preying on the kind hearts of those trying to do things legit.
    KEY POINTS**
    - Half $ now and I give you the log in and you test to see if its legit.
    - He gave me a login and I was able to test the account. Good to go.
    - changed password, changed email, input phone number.
    - signed into xbox and changed gamer tag and look. All good. I did all this BEFORE I PAID other half!
    - paid the other half and I thought we were good... even offered to pay more later for the trouble. (legit)

    All good right??? NO!

noww.... (this is TOTALLY MY FAULT for not being diligent)

******WITH IN 3 HOURS AFTER I PURCHASED HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED****
    1. I get a text message that my number has been deleted from the account I just bought and changed
    2. I attempt to log in on XBOX... asking me for a password (THAT DOES NOT WORK)
    3. attempt to log in with new email I created... its deleted and I have a message saying "this email does not exist"
    4. In order to get me into his account - I was given the email. I saved that and the password. that email NOW IS BACK ON and password changed.
    5. My gamer tag is gone and his is back . AND he pimped out my dude I re-created. LOL

Havent been this AMPED in some time.... so I went to work.

here are some things to remember.
    1. Just because you change email and password and put in a phone number will NOT i repeat NOT secure the account.
    2. If they have the security code and you did not change it they have total RE-ACCESS to your account.
    3. This hustle is pretty brilliant. I dont like being hustled tho...
    4. Make sure, after you have access to the account that you go to "change the way you sign in" and change email AND THEN go to security, and change to 2 factor authentication.
    5. IMPORTANT* - XBOX re-authentication methods are not as secure as I would like. MEANING, if that account is signed in to the XBOX then it can be changed.
    6. LOCK DOWN THE XBOX ACCOUNT AND REMOVE ALLLLLL FRIENDS

My day time job is cyber security. I am in love with NBA 2K19 and I wont be got by some low key hustle veteran players are running against rookies.

I think if someone want to profit off their hard work in the game and sell the account, it should be legit done. (however in my opinion, grown folks that hate to lose buying high level players and walking in the park thinking they gonna run it is a mistake and ruin legitimacy of skill level.
GO THROUGH PAYPAL OR HERE - guarantee your money back.

AT THIS POINT I AM COMMITTED TO DELETING THE 94 OVERALL Guy

HERE - the usernames I can find are Tay7006 and TayTay4s - Dude is a thief and STILL trying to log back in to the account!!

ANYTHING TAY OR TAYTAY DONT WORK WITH!!! SCAMMER!~
CASH APP USER: $MR4s "TAY TAY"
    VENMO USER: @IGETGREENS "Tae Tae"

    hope this helps....

    @Middleman

User @tay7006 is verified. If you'd like to dump his ID for scamming.

    Both users are now banned.

How can you protect yourself from these type of scams in the future?
I strongly recommend in the future to use PlayerUp Middleman Services to protect yourself from these type of scams. Here is how it works for buyers (Buyers Guide) and here is how it works for sellers (Sellers Guide).

Is there anything we can do to assist you still with this dispute?
Please read this guide (Guide - Combat Fraud Service). All we need is the scammers full name and address and we can assist you further.

What can you do next to resolve this issue?
Since this is a PayPal transaction, you need to immediately go to PayPal and open a dispute hopefully before the seller moves those funds. In order to do that, go to your paypal receipt, and see the area where it says resolution or dispute payment. Open a dispute and provide them as much proof as possible. Contact PayPal as well and ask them what you need to do to win a dispute. Keep in constant communication with paypal. If you sent the payment by family and friends then unfortunately those funds are lost as you cannot dispute those payments and we strongly advise against sending friends and family payments in the future even if the seller requires it you can easily say no. For more information, please contact PayPal.

Can PlayerUp provide compensation for this dispute?
Since this is a non middleman transaction and PlayerUp wasn't directly involved with safeguarding your payment and guaranteeing your transaction we will unfortunately not be able to provide any compensation for you on this transaction as you dealt directly with the individual for which you're submitting a complaint against in this ticket. However if you're able to locate his full name and address, we can possibly go after him but there is no guarantee we'll be able to recover any lost funds - Guide - Combat Fraud Service

How can I protect myself in the future?
We strongly advise that you don't conduct business offsite. This is the #1 way scammers attract buyers and sellers is they lure them offsite and then bait them into anything because they have no consequences for their actions. If you did business on site, then disregard this message as the majority of scams are done offsite.
