    I was having a lot of problems with Magenti 1.5.1.0 and sample data. All products just returned 404 pages. I found a possibile solution here. I rebuilt all indexes and cleared all the cache, problem solved.

    Actually the Magento messages already showed that there was a problem, re-run the maintenance tools and was good to go!
