Is it safe to bring in Surface Book 2's for repair/refund/exchange after an SE?

    Hey guys I purchased a service to refund a bunch of Microsoft products using Paypal dispute with microsoft reference number method. It worked well and got my money. Sadly, one of the Surface Book 2s are defective. Is it safe to bring it in for repair or exchange in a Microsoft store or are these flagged now? I also noticed the refund option is still available on my order history. Would it be safe to return it for real and just purchase a new one? Thanks
