It's not exactly ,,hacking'', though this part of HF seems the best for this task. TLDR Version: Lost my iPhone Backup Password, need the data though. Don't ask me how I managed to do it, but it happened. Made a backup from my old phone, deleted that phone, gave it to my sister and voila - the iPhone backup was encrypted for whatever reason (none of my previous backups were...). Since it is mine, it must have been a password I previously set - I simply can't find out about it anymore. I need someone to explain me if there is a way to extract at least some of the data, if not all. Since it is my personal stuff, I will not send the backup to anyone. I need someone to explain it to me or do it through remote access. If anyone has ethical doubts - which I wouldn't believe on here - I can confirm that I am the owner of the back.
