    Facebook Security Options.

    I just thought about updating the users about few security options on Facebook which is about privacy settings.

    I shall update the thread whenever necessary. This is for those who are not aware about the various options.

    Third Party Adverts

    Secure browsing(https)

    Third Party Adverts:

    If you do not wish Facebook to show your information for its third party adverts shown all over facebook, you may choose the following option.

    Accounts >> Accounts Settings >> Facebook Adverts >> Edit third party advert settings

    Then you will see this:

    Set the following option and save changes.

    SECURE BROWSING(http):

    By Default, facebook uses HTTP for the general run and now it has an additional option for https secure browsing.

    You may google HTTPS to know about it.

    ACCOUNT >> Account Settings >>> Account Security >> Change.

    Check the option "Secure Browsing" and Save.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Raz

    This is a good start, razathru. I personally think Facebook isn't secure no matter how you look at it. I believe it also just screws up social interaction more than anything, I hate the though of an ex, co-worker, etc. finding me, then adding me on Facebook. I would be too inclined to post wild and goofy stuff. Not to mention, my distant family members would add me which would restrict my use of language and content even more.

    TL;DR: I miss old school myspace.

    well i think its good not i wont have much ad's and spams sent to me !!
