According to EVGA Support, there is a defect with some GTX 1080 FTW edition cards causing black screen, and flickering. Since it effects so many cards, they are doing advance RMAs. You need a serial number, your mailing/postal address, have an EVGA account, and a order invoice, as well as a vcc with a $1 hold. Should be doable, but a drop would be a must.
