Are you wondering if it's a good idea for you to have multiple Facebook accounts? Many new businesses these days are starting out with a small number of clients, but the ultimate goal is to have that company grow to encompass a larger geographic area and ultimately have clients spread out across the country or even around the world. As more people log on to their accounts to do business or simply hang out, having a Facebook business account can really help you promote your business in a number of different ways. If you have a website and blog as well, then you're probably already using social media sites such as Twitter and LinkedIn to promote yourself, but what about those people who aren't on these networks?

The truth is, if you want to get the most bang for your buck when it comes to marketing your business, then you need to have a strategy for reaching these people and getting them to notice your company and brand. This can be accomplished by having a profile where you can connect directly with the people in your niche, whether they are your customers or potential clients. Having separate profiles for offline and online activities can give you the opportunity to put together a complete networking marketing plan. This way, you will be able to reach out to people who are outside of your company, but still interested in hearing about what you're doing.

Even though you may think that multiple accounts would be a waste of time, there are actually some benefits to having more than one profile. Consider the following scenario: you run an online business and have two separate blogs set up with separate pages. People are interested in both of your blogs, but they're not aware of your primary site. In this case, having two Facebook accounts that are connected can give you the opportunity to reach them both without broadcasting to the world your business activity. Hopefully this scenario helps you understand why having an account with multiple companies is important.
