So im doing a refund on a site i've done before with my own address so ive obviously got to switch it up, i found a for sale home on google like 20 mins away from me and decided to use it, today i was supposed to recieve the package so i went to the address to wait for it, I was there on the door step for like 2 hours (the doorstep is covered from all angles by trees) so nobody could really see me just hanging out unless they walked or drove by, no problem for neighbours. So after like 2-3 hours i see this car pull up and this guy comes up to me saying im trespassing and starts saying hes going to "arrest" me, he pulled out his phone and was saying he was taking pictures of me i said thats fine im not doing anything illegal i can leave the property if you'd like, i told him i messed up the delivery address for my package and i live up the street but put this house number by mistake so i have to wait for my package now, he started going on about how im waiting for a "Drug" package and says im drug dealing on his property, absolute ******* nut case. So he says he wont "arrest me today" and walks away and i see him slap a "SOLD" sticker on the sign infront of the house, so it was the real-estate agent and he owned that house i assume but i didn't know that at first. Thats some really shitty luck on my part that he was just coming by on that day to do whatever he had to do with the sign. I still have to go back tommorow because the carrier love you up the delivery and had the wrong label so they are re-delivering tommorow, what can i do? any tips to avoid lingering on the property but still see the carrier when he comes and get him to deliver it to me? Post any stories regarding drop address's you used aswell below id like to hear if anybodys had a similiar situation to this.
