    Says he couldn't change the passwords, but he did. Never attempted to send any actual money. Just tried to sucker me into giving up the account....

    I just want someone to go through the middleman service to be honest. You guys know what you're doing. You do it right. I would like to do it that way, and that way only. What should I do?

    that's a big transaction, whats the currency? is it USD?

    You should contact the game provider and ask for support to retrieve back the account, obviously its not a good idea to tell them that you were trying to sell the account off so just say you got an email of some kind of rewards in-game, opened it then logged in your account to get the rewards but now you cant access your account.

    Well I would like to clarify that im the seller, not the buyer. Doesn't seem like I can actually edit that part out... The guy is calling me the scammer. I don't get it, he never even tried to put up any money, and he has an account.

    Should I just say to people, go through the middleman service provided, otherwise don't bother?

    Yeah, I said I would like to use the middleman service and he said no... If people aren't interested in using it then I should just end the conversation there. I don't get why that guy even uses the website if he calls the system a scam.

    If anyone ignores to go via middleman then you should understand and stay away.

    I made a trade with this guy in the morning, he just keep telling me not to use any other middleman service, and use the family and friends option in paypal. I choose another which can hold the money in paypal before I receive the account, he was pissed off and told me to transfer another amount to his account since he got only half the money. And then he insist me click the completed button which would make me unable to refund.

    I felt kinda weird, so I checked the email of his paypal account and find this tread.It turns out that he change the id and try to sell the same account to me. It was quite horrible of such things, I think I got greedy when such a good account sell at such low price. I think that the site should pick up those guy from time to time, or it would ruined the credit record of the site

    There are reports here from different users on this dispute showing how very risky @shoxshox is.

    Also, we have found many multiple accounts on our site made by @shoxshox which violates TOS of Playerup

    @shoxshox is failed to reply to this dispute after many people tried to contact many times. The user is suspended.

    Please contact Support Dept to verify your account and explain about the reports from @Alancolumban and @Elliot Brewster if you still wish to stay on our website.

    I strongly recommend in the future to use PlayerUp Middleman Services to protect yourself from these type of scams. Here is how it works for buyers (Buyers Guide) and here is how it works for sellers (Sellers Guide).

    What can you do next to resolve this issue?
    Since this is a PayPal transaction, you need to immediately go to PayPal and open a dispute hopefully before the seller moves those funds. In order to do that, go to your paypal receipt, and see the area where it says resolution or dispute payment. Open a dispute and provide them as much proof as possible. Contact PayPal as well and ask them what you need to do to win a dispute. Keep in constant communication with paypal. If you sent the payment by family and friends then unfortunately those funds are lost as you cannot dispute those payments and we strongly advise against sending friends and family payments in the future even if the seller requires it you can easily say no. For more information, please contact PayPal.
