   How can I be sure that a buyer of an account can't just claim that he/she never received an account? How would I be able to verify that the buyer did indeed receive the account and that I should be given the payment?

   This is something you have to discuss prior to releasing the account information. You can request for @Middleman to verify the account prior to releasing it to the buyer which would eliminate the issue you're stating could happen above.
