Today I decide to SE Bose for the first time. I go to craiglist and grab the S/N from a dude who is selling Bose Quietcomforter 35 for $350. I called Bose and talked the the agent about my broken headphone. After going through some troubleshooting, the agent said that Bose will replace me the headphone but I need to send the broken headphone to their warehouse using their prepaid label. After making up excuse (pretty good one) and request for the replacement to ship asap, the agent told me that Bose has cancelled their advanced replacement program because there were a ton of people who received the replacement and did not send the headphone back. That's it. I am going to just ship the empty box. Do I need to use the dry ice method? The agent said that the replacement will be send as soon as UPS scan the box I shipped so I do not know if I can just ship an empty box and still receive the replacement.
