    Scammer. Tries to get me to pay first then when I ask for proof of ownership he says hes found another buyer from weeks ago who is waiting on a paycheck. Screenshots below.

    Listings should be closed anyway - he has gone dark on discord since the 24th. Not that the reporting option even did any good or will at this point.

    I'm out a boat ton of money to him - expensive lesson, but at least no more gacha games for me.

    Part of the odd thing, not much was shady. Everything seemed legit. Even after he got the money, he didn't do what most would do and just block me or leave. He was upfront about how much ended up actually going through and the plan was to return the extra. He marked the listing as sold and even when I contacted him using another discord name he said that the account wasn't available anymore - normally when you scam, you take as much as you can from anyone.

    I bought the Genshin Impact account he was selling and on the day we tried to do the transfer, the codes weren't sending. On that same day they ended up having some issues with the IOS client, so it could have been related. There is a 7 hour time difference, so there wasn't usually much time to try things. That next morning he sent me a message on discord saying "it work - you there" and that was the last I heard from him.

    The main issue came with the payment method, which I had never used before - so through a series of mistakes I ended up paying 3x the price, which is why I lost so much money. In retrospect, I believe the address he gave wasn't really his as it didn't seem to exist on google maps, but that isn't something you really think about at the time.

    I do have 3 of his bank accounts and 2 credit card numbers, but there is little that can be done with that when he is in another country.

    Honestly, I'd just like a response from him so I know for sure what went down - for all I know he got hit by a bus that afternoon and that was that.

    If you scam a lot of money from someone you could at least have the decency to own up to it afterwards.

    So yeah, I've been losing a lot of sleep over this whole experience. Sleep and money.

    I feel awful now and already been a week since he left hopefully if he my come back but even really insulting that I sell/trade accounts and recommend MM all times while he flat out disregarded and I’ve had that experience of being scammed too but you could have spent so much time with that money for other things really painful. I wanted that DB Legends account from him but can’t get the chance nor care since you shared your story. And that too could be a possibility he had been in a accident and can’t respond but who knows.

    I doubt we will ever know, so will have to assume it was just a scam all along. I wouldn't have done what I did normally, but I was headed to bed and I knew the account would be gone by the time I woke up. The bigger mess up was sending the extra payments, but nothing can be done about that now. Expensive lesson that will take a few years to recover from.
