Awareness post on u/Kyliestarz! Please read ⚠️

Hello everyone! I'm creating this post to address a recently active scammer, and the scamming methods that they have been using.

The user, u/Kyliestarz, has been a frequent scammer as of the past few weeks.

The method they've been using involves asking you if you have a friend that can middleman, or finding a real middleman. They will then create an alt account with a username similar to the middleman you're using. They'll trade you with this alt account and trick you into believing that you're trading your items to the middleman, while in reality you're trading them. Once you've hit accept, they will leave with your items.

If this user messages you, please block them immediately and refrain from communicating with them. This is all the information we have on them at the moment. If anyone has any knowledge of other accounts linked to this scammer, please let us know!

Please also keep in mind that other scammers may be using similar tactics. Always be cautious when trading and double check usernames before hitting accept. Once you've been scammed, there’s little that can be done to recover your items. Additionally, most game supports are unable to help, especially since cross-trading is not permitted.
