So i refunded a Iphone 7 = £607. I complained i got a book instead and made a return label and sent some book back (with royal mail untracked rather than myhermes) . Initially they claim the book never arrived despite me showing proof of postage so i closed the return and made a new return label. i missed the myhermes pickup so sent it with dpd instead (amazon manually arranged it) and i got the item picked up and delivered with next day delivery but the item return status still says " Return started Your refund will be processed when we receive your item. " I asked amazon why and they said they received it. After hours of me contacting amazon and hours of "investigations" i never heard from amazon are once again claiming they have not recived my item and i should get a police report to carry this on further. My Options are A) Bank chargeback - i still look like i am in the right as amazon sent the "wrong item" and i have proof i returned it. B) Go to get a police report - bit hesitant to do this. C) Anything else? Looking for some suggestions on where i should go from here
