ARodricknner stole $180 on PayPal for an account I purchased from him, I also just seen where another user had him do the same thing for the same account I purchased. He claims PayPal won’t release money so he want send it, but he actually transferred money to his bank and then closes the PayPal account. I have this info confirmed from PayPal. My bank has already found his location due to tracking his bank info. But he is still on this site scamming people. The other person he scammed, was after I already reported him on here. He needs to be dealt with.
He must be one of your friends? Well know he has stolen from 3 people since last week alone on this site. All 3 people have proof that he stole money from them. PayPal emailed me documentation of him taking and transferring money I sent and then him closing the account in less than 5 minutes after I sent money and he transferred it. He’s nothing but a pathetic loser who has to still money for people on these sites probably to help his addiction problem.
Good to know. But he won’t reply. He will just make a new account. That’s what he does with PayPal. He’s scammed 3 people using 3 different paypal accounts.
1. Why do you assume he is "my friend". I have no clue who this person is and there are 600,000 members on PlayerUp. 2. PayPal shouldn't allow him to do business on their platform and they should help you get your money back. How can you protect yourself from these type of scams in the future? I strongly recommend in the future to use PlayerUp Middleman Services to protect yourself from these type of scams. Here is how it works for buyers (Buyers Guide) and here is how it works for sellers (Sellers Guide). Is there anything we can do to assist you still with this dispute? Please read this guide (Guide - Combat Fraud Service). All we need is the scammers full name and address and we can assist you further. What can you do next to resolve this issue? Since this is a PayPal transaction, you need to immediately go to PayPal and open a dispute hopefully before the seller moves those funds. In order to do that, go to your paypal receipt, and see the area where it says resolution or dispute payment. Open a dispute and provide them as much proof as possible. Contact PayPal as well and ask them what you need to do to win a dispute. Keep in constant communication with paypal. If you sent the payment by family and friends then unfortunately those funds are lost as you cannot dispute those payments and we strongly advise against sending friends and family payments in the future even if the seller requires it you can easily say no. For more information, please contact PayPal. Can PlayerUp provide compensation for this dispute? Since this is a non middleman transaction and PlayerUp wasn't directly involved with safeguarding your payment and guaranteeing your transaction we will unfortunately not be able to provide any compensation for you on this transaction as you dealt directly with the individual for which you're submitting a complaint against in this ticket. However if you're able to locate his full name and address, we can possibly go after him but there is no guarantee we'll be able to recover any lost funds - Guide - Combat Fraud Service How can I protect myself in the future? We strongly advise that you don't conduct business offsite. This is the #1 way scammers attract buyers and sellers is they lure them offsite and then bait them into anything because they have no consequences for their actions. If you did business on site, then disregard this message as the majority of scams are done offsite. . .
It doesn't work that way. We aren't PayPal. We block multiple account signups so he can try signing up but the system is going to lock him down. Changing IPs doesn't work nor does bypass our systems.
Also you should dispute in PayPal and never transact again unless you're using a middleman. Same goes for any website. The guy had 0 feedback and you buy at your own risk when dealing with a 0 feedback seller anywhere you go.
Also this guy nobody reported him, nobody except you. We can't just make a wild guess who is and who isn't a scammer. People have to use the reporting option or open a dispute and notify us. I mean we have suspended/banned 8300 people in 7 months not including non appeable suspensions and accounts simply perma locked down which is about 2x this list. We do all we can to block fraud and you should always proceed with heavy caution when dealing with these new or 0 feedback sellers.
Yea it was initially my fault. I shouldn’t have even dealt with him to begin with. The other two people said they were gone report as well. He done same thing to them. Transferred money fro PayPal to his bank then closed accounts. PayPal and my bank are going to make sure I get my money back and my bank has confirmed they have already located the address of the bank account owner he used and sent a letter informing him that fraud charges can and will be filed.
