Fraud - Need To Take Action Intoyo (Philip Jones) No access to account, has everything, doesn't answer me.

    So you’re in his favor even tho he got his acct locked out himself? Like I’d at least want to know you’re reasoning before I go any further. And So I will have to pay him back or give him another acct?

    Yes I am but I have no access at all. He’s locked himself out of the email/account and I tried to help Hime but I was denied for not giving the right info (which weedy and myself figured out and I showed him they’re reply so he didn’t think I was lying) so I’m having a hard time realizing how this is my fault I’m sorry. If he’s locked himself out, it was optional to help him saying our deal was done but I did help. So you’re wanting me to refund him and I don’t have my acct back? I mean it’s just hard to believe you so easily take his side when I’ve had proof talking to him privately confessing everything and on here he acts like it wasn’t his fault at all. I mean in the end it’s your decision and I’ll respect it but I’d at least like to know your reasoning before I give money back and lose my acct

    It's your responsibility to be able to give an account and be able to recover it if something goes wrong. Selling the account and giving them details is only half of it, you need to be able to help them instead of saying "he did something wrong". If you failed to recover the account, it tells me you didn't create it. If you say, "how do you know?" I could follow it up with your logic of, "he did something wrong". We can both give assumptions, but the fact is you received money for an account which he know longer has and you can't recover it.

    Ya it's his account and he changed the email & name on it as i provided in the proof, the account email is not the same and i posted proof that i made another epic games account using his email. he has fortnite account, old and new email, and my money. its ok if i dont get full amount back but if its fee like $20 for all of this i would be fine with $160

    On any other site, you'd take the hit and that's it. No discussion. If you expect 160$ without buying insurance, you're mistaken.

    I'm not posting here anymore as it was a closed case back when I looked into it 2 months ago. Intoyo was sketchy, and he's shown many inconsistencies in his arguments.

    It's up to him to refund you, not PlayerUp. That's how I view it.

    If @Middleman cares.

    He states this happened in late march.

    This was posted March 30th - the entire log-in credentials + email associated with the account he bought.

    A poster, "Someone changed epic games password, sign into email and reset password, whoever gets it gets it."

    So this entire post makes no sense to me. It's apparent this account is cracked, and @Intoyo lies about being the original owner. This tells me nothing he can say is trustworthy.

    He doesn't have the account, it was cracked. He can't have access to it unless he hacked it back from you.

    If someone scams you, you lose the money always. This is business online. Middleman gives preventative measures and even gives you a way to get a refund if you do get scammed by purchasing insurance.

    You did not, therefore you've been scammed - and there is nothing to be done other than ban him off the site.

    As of now, the only way I can see that you were scammed is if you were so oblivious to not change the e-mail password for the e-mail. That is all on you and especially the seller if he was not the OP of that thread trying to screw you over.

    I had 2 step verification on and changed the password but intoyo or someone else got back into the account

    So you are telling me I can sell accounts then change email and keep both account and money?

    You can do whatever you want, but @Intoyo has been suspended off the site. If you do it, you will be too. Not only this, but you didn't listen to Middleman on your only way to get your money back.

    I also don't believe you had 2FA on, the account info is literally in the thread with someone STATING they changed the password.

    I had 2FA on I even had the app on my phone but Intoyo got through it still that's how he changed the fortnite password and someone attempted to change the email afterwards multiple times I was never aware of the password changed

    I would love to get my money back but I was never instructed by Middleman on getting my money back they just said we will hold payments for Intoyo and "reimburse" me but I don't see how holding money would work in my favor and Intoyo will never sell on this website again, Middleman's plan didn't work and I don't understand why he intoyo doesn't need to know that. Intoyo was never planning to sell on the website again

    That was the original owner getting his account back.

    Redirect your anger to where it belongs, the guy who scammed you.

    Intoyo didn't plan on selling here again because he knew he scammed. But if you were quiet, perhaps he'd have came back one day and you'd have had your money back.

    But instead, it's gone forever now. Intoyo knows damn well what he did, but if he thought he got away with it he'd sell again.

    that's like coming back to the job you've been permanently fired from and they say "come back one day maybe you will be hired again"
    Also you aren't keeping track at all, he is the original owner but looks like someone else got hold of account hence it was posted online, he changed the account email and has it now

    I'm telling you this user is selling cracked accounts and you're telling me he isn't.

    You know the risks of account buying, don't be mad at PlayerUp when you don't even buy insurance knowing that risk. PlayerUp is not accountable for the users, they are. If they scam, they're banned.

    If you bought on any other website you wouldn't get a response or a simple, "sorry you've been scammed". Instead you sabotage any help you could get and want a refund for something you did. I'm done posting here, good luck. Bye.

    Well said @Ryan

    I was going to comment myself but it's crystal clear what needs to be done here.

    Seller provided @Weedy a bad account and should compensate. A suitable alternative account or a refund. @Middleman just informed me they will waive all fees as well and provide @Weedy some compensation
