Do refunds work when delivered to apartments?

    A friend of mine lives in a 6 apartment building, 3 apartments on the ground floor, 3 on the top and I live on the top. There is a door to get into the top which is locked to anyone who doesn't have a key. Would a refund work if I had it delivered to the apartment or what would FedEx/UPS do? Anyone have experience with this​
