Has anyone in the UK ever gotten into trouble with debt collectors?

    So I was watching this documentary where people who were getting free tv licensees had these thug debt collectors turn up at their houses demanding a fee.

    I could imagine refunding could lead to a situation like this, so just wondering anyone experienced any trouble at all from refunding here the UK.
