I started a transaction Sunday around noon using the buy now link. I sent through the steps, including scanning my id for verification. The message I received was wait for the middleman to start convos. Over 24 hours later someone commented on the buyers thread that he had just purchased it. My next message from the middleman was "seller informed us it had been sold" How exactly does this happen? What's the point of using this service if what I am trying to purchase can be bought after I start the process?
