Hey guys, There's an epidemic of people being scammed and scammers contacting ppl selling 1. A maxed base isn't legitimately selling for less then 400$+ based on th, heros etc. 2. iTunes cards sent over kik are your first tip off its a scam, always use middleman services OFF OF WEBSITE. Them adding in a "middleman" isn't legit. 3. If it's too good to be true, it is. 4. Playerup has a thread saying their middlemen will NEVER deal via kik Protect yourself guys, also, sending money via paypal isn't any safer. You cant call paypal and say "oh hey i paid a guy for a coc account and he backed out, I want my money back". Paypal only secures payments off of sites like PlayerUp etc. not when sending money person to person. Be awar guys, I'm sick of losers ruining legit sales for guys like me. They drive my price down cause kids see a "maxed th10 for 25$ iTunes card".........wake up. Also, no matter what, dont give your info out first without a VERIFIED MIDDLEMAN OFF OF SITE. once you give info youre SOL and they will lock you out DONT GET SCAMMED

My personal opinion is there isn't any reason to talk to someone on kik for these type of business related transactions unless you personally know the individual or know the person is ready to move forward with a transaction. Anyone else that contacts you on KiK is high risk and most likely wasting your time. Many of those people likely have already been banned from PlayerUp individuals who can still read PlayerUp and try to conduct business transactions outside of PlayerUp to continue their fraudulent schemes.
I'll merge this with the safe trade guide sticky. I agree with everything you said. We are making multiple changes here to implement various changes as we want quality trustworthy PlayerUp Listings, not bulk high risk listings. Pretty much everything you said we are expected to make adjustments over the next several days. Additionally, you'll already notice anyone posting shady looking listings will be labeled as high risk. We're also upgrading people to verified status free of charge so you know who is trustworthy to deal with. Keep checking our News and Announcement Page as we keep making additions to the PlayerUp Platform.

YOu don't post your car for sale on Joe's list without pictures, price or details and expect people to call you do you? so why do it here? Please spend the time to list the details like: ASKING PRICE if you are lazy to type, take some SCREENSHOTS of your base, and then like what troops you have, then spells, etc. IOS or ANDROID?? This should be a requirement for all listings. I would presume if all you post up is "interested? hit me up my KIK is $%##%%" then you are a scammer that wants to sucker someone in private chat somewhere else. ALSO PAYPAL buyer protection does not protect digital property so if you don't use the MIDDLEMAN SERVICE here then you are at EXTREMELY high risk.

My recommendation at this point is to open a Dispute on PlayerUp and have @Disputes assist you at trying to recover what you lost.
I don't know where to send this, but if you get a message from "Camry B" (kik username:TheBeast2578) who invites a fake middleman ("MIDDLEMAN SERVICE" with kik username: yrn8398), they are trying to scam you. They tried on me, and miserably failed.
