    Adjustment in reporting cases via "Create a ticket" button

    We would like to inform you about an important change in procedure of PayPal Disputes and Shield refunds based on product issues, that is going take effect on April 18, 2017.

    As a seller, you need to report all PayPal Disputes or Shield refunds based on product issues within 14 days after the dispute or refund was made. During the aforementioned period of 14 days, each seller is obligated to provide us with all the requested proofs of purchase. The list of the requested proofs will be provided by a Support Specialist in the appropriate ticket. In order to report such a case in the proper manner, the seller should use the "Create a ticket" button available through the notifications and statements tab.

    If a case connected to a PayPal dispute or Shield refund is not reported in the proper manner, or the requested proofs are not attached within 14 days, the case will be closed without the opportunity to be re-opened. Moreover, after 14 days, the "Create a ticket" button will no longer be active.

    Also, please bear in mind that the final decision regarding all reported PayPal disputes will be made by PayPal specialists and the final decision regarding all reported Shield refunds will be made by Shield Specialists.

    Full information regarding changes to the procedure of PayPal Disputes and Shield refunds based on product issues will be provided in the T&Cs.
