Sold Account link/unlink question

    My account is linked to one of my Gmail accounts but that email was # recently and I have to abandon it. Will the game allow me to unlink from that gmail and re-link to another one I have? I know games like these are all strict and weird about these things because people somehow buy/sell accounts. I don't wanna risk losing my character progress by trying to unlink.
