There is 7 total character slots, only 6 being used, one is empty.
There is another rare pet that is in the process of maxing (First ability is like level 60 something), shitty abilities but it doesn't matter because once fused with the one shown in the pic, those abilities will be the new main abilities of the legendary outcome pet. (Its in the process of being maxed, so that the 2 can be fused to a legendary that can be maxed as well).

Not sure about selling atm, just curious how much I would charge if wanting to sell.
Honestly depends if I get tester or not, if I don't get tester I will probably end up selling it, getting testing access will be the only thing that keeps me wanting to play this dying game xD.
