    I've called PayPal and my bank.

    PayPal: I called PayPal, I tried filling a dispute online with them. They said since the status of the application is uncleared, they can't do much about it. They said try and contact the seller and ask for a refund, however, the seller is not cooperating. If that doesn't work, then contact the bank and tell them to block/cancel those transactions. More information about the status of the transaction: It is trying to add funds from the bank to my PayPal balance which will take 6-8 days. Then it says there will be currency conversion.

    My bank: They have no idea what I'm talking about since the payments didn't get charged yet/didn't go through. They said a supervisor is going to be calling me as soon as possible to discuss what is going on. Friday is Canada Day and all banks are going to be closed, thus the earliest I can be helped by the bank is Saturday.

    There has been more attempts with the seller to clear up the problem which shows not wanting to be communicative. Shown below:

    themocrew: You need to cancel the transaction, I know you took down the post. You have been reported. I have your real name and will report you to the police. They will do an international investigation if needed and they will find you. They can also track your ip address from the messages you have sent. Concequences are going to be harsh if you dont return the money

    Before "I am the scammer? You are the scammer here. I have proof that you copied another person's post. They also commented on your post. I'd like for you to please cancel the middleman transaction between us two." , he wrote "You are silly you scammer"
    Sorry for the mistake, copy and paste error

    also, the user is now banned, so my communication with him will no longer be functional in order to get the dispute/refund

    This guy is not a middleman here. There is only 1 @Middleman service here. That's it.

    So yes you're doing the right thing disputing.

    I will report this email to paypal [email protected] and get the account shut down. Will speak with the PayPal Manager in the morning so they can forward it to the correct department versus being ignored by regular paypal support.

    Just relax a bit for now. Don't get too stressed out. You'll eventually get your money back and we'll assist you at this whichever way we can based on the information you provided us with above. Everyone gets scammed at least once in their life. If anything you can use this as a valuable learning experience which you didn't lose or gain anything from it.

    So for now just let the transaction post to your bank account. Can't do anything yet. For PayPal, it could take several days/couple weeks for them to resolve this. You'll have to be patient as it's not quick to get your money back.

    If you want, we can restore his account but the system auto banned him. I don't think he will help you and think it would be better to use your energy towards getting your money back than talking to him. Just our recommendation.
