What you should do is to just call PayPal and tell them that you were scammed, that guy won't reply here or wouldn't even try to defend himself b'coz his real intention is to just rip people off their hard earned money. @Admin this is the 2nd victim of this type of scam.
This is a serious issue.New buyers dont know the payment email of mm,so they will even pay via these kind of spam links.I would suggest to remove these threads so others dont try it after viewing this thread.
I would disagree with your suggestion to remove the information about this type of scam mainly b'coz scammers would try new things to rip someone off if their old methods doesn't work anymore and will eventually come across trying this scheme. Though i do understand what you trying to say but its best for everyone to keep record of this dispute so everyone would know that there is a type of scam like this happening around the site.
Ideas i can think of that can prevent/avoid scams are the following: - Live Chat Support (which i think is the best out of the 3) the fact that not everyone has knowledge of how the site works especially with their Middleman Service is a major factor as to why there's a scam like this happening. Having a Live Chat Support would dramatically decrease the victims of these scams b'coz new members can ask Community Moderators about their questions or concerns and they will get an immediate answer with explanation. - Guides/Walkthroughs for Newly Registered Members this one can be done through Private Conversation Ticket. Newly registered Members will receive an Auto-PM that includes guides/walkthroughs with short but clear explanation (not like the words you used in your original seller/buyer guides & knowledge base) about the site, contacts and how your service works. - Forcibly Enable-Lock Notifications on Disputes, Help and Middleman Sections Implementing this will make everyone receive notifications every time there's a new thread created in that 3 sections.
