A member of PlayerUp scammed me through paypal. Joshua18 is his name

After our review, the name Peter the person is using is fake. PayPal is allowing this person to create fake paypal accounts. The person is from Turkey.

He is back again, one of our groups members was contacted by his different alias and he wanted our member to send as paypal friends and family, I asked our member what the guys name was and he had a playerup name of @COCSELL19 and his K>>I>>K is Andres_Martines he was selling the same th10 as you can see in both these threads

Same exact account..he just moved few things around and did a terrible edit, but everything is exactly the same..troops...the ranking and base.. @Admin please look into this.. @COCSELL19 is this fraudster once again and using IP # to hide his true location.. I noticed this when our group member asked for my help and I always check securely when I'm involved with helping any our mates.

 

this guy needs really be banned..he obviously keeps making fake profiles and asking them their clan name so he can prove he is owner of the account to gain their trust then he scams them by having them send him friends and family @COCSELL19 is this person this his new playerup name ..@Admin thank you when looking into this

 

Thanks for posting this here man, I hate seeing him just creating new and new accounts always, well I have already sent a reclamation/dispute paper to our bank and I think I'll get my money back. @Admin check these!

 

It's sad to say this but this guy is possibly untouchable if he was smart enough. Basically what he had to do was enable a vpn or proxy then make an email address while connected to it then make a paypal account while connected to the vpn/proxy then make an account on here! If he did that then he is untouchable and there is no trace of his real IP. Hope we can bring this dude down. I hope he's forgets to turn on his vpn when making a new account. $400+ is too much to be scammed. This dude is a dedicated scammer

 

What the person is doing with PayPal is a "criminal" offense. You would think since PayPal spends millions of dollars a year on a risk department that they would eventually shut this guy down or go after them as they have a full legal department and plenty of articles online that they do go after people legally.

That said, we can't control what PayPal does. It's PayPal who is taking the largest hit when the buyer disputes and wins and the scammer is getting away with the money.

 

They are all banned. This user was suspended. Suspended people can't do anything.

I have checked the logs, he has no active accounts on PlayerUp. I'll keep monitoring it.

 

There is nothing more I can provide you with. I have already informed you what to do. You did it. You don't need anything else from us at this point. Just have to wait for the process to get started on receiving your refund.

So, is the Facebook profile fake? I can try and dox him.

 

It should be fake, but not 100% sure, but I think it is still fake. :P
