@Middleman still haven't heard any status on this dispute and supercell has closed the ticket as I couldn't provide proof of ownership so my only hope is middleman to get my money back
You should tell supercell that you've bought that account from the owner so they can disable it for good. If you can't have what you paid for, nobody should have it.
Well I told them he is trying to sell the account. They just said without proof of ownership they can't do anything.
If I can get my money back I would say it's safer doing business through middleman, otherwise i don't know.

@Middleman update: now the account has been temporarily banned by supercell pending verification of ownership. All I want is my money back, please middleman help me out here, still waiting for your help.
I learned now that there is always a way to recover the account provided you meet the conditions and neither ios or android security can stop it if you know what you are doing.
Is it mean that he is restored it via google support? Did you link your gmail account to the phone number?
I don't think it should be said here as anyone can then do the same thing once they know this. It is common knowledge though and Middleman knows too so hopefully there is something they can do here to prevent this from happening in the future.
You can help others to prevent this way of fraud. Middleman probably is not checking info which seller giving to buyer in 3 way conversation, so it can happen anyway. As for me I'm only enable 2 step verification after purchase and thought that it is safe, but after your case I'm not sure.
Yes but not by saying it here. Just think anyone reading it can then do the same thing this seller did to me. I told Middleman he knows what the seller did so if middleman wants to provide a sticky he can do it. Telling everyone about it may help buyers but it will certainly help thieves too.
