I did file a Dispute and got my money back, however paypal said they couldn't do anything since I used "friends or family" method to send the money. But I contacted my bank directly.
Excellent. Be careful on this though. I think PayPal gives you one exception but they could fully limit your account in the future if you dispute via family and friends. Basically we can't recommend to anyone to use family and friends as an option through PayPal as it promotes fraud. Personally, if a seller ever requested this, I would tell them I'm no longer interested in doing business with them. They will either adjust to your requirements as a buyer or you don't do business with them. Anyway good work and we're sorry to hear that you got scammed but at least you were able to resolve it.
