A while back a guy paid me to do an online game services for him. He paid me a sum total of $250 USD. Everything went well and I haven't been in contact with this guy in a long time. Out of the clear blue he contacted his bank and said that it was an unauthorized purchase. Right now the money is in question and I submitted the skype logs and such to prove that he purchased this services on purpose. Now that paypal account doesn't have any real information besides a debit card. I hear that they can't charge that without my permission. So my question is if this goes south and he wins what's the worst that can happen? Do I just get banned from paypal or how does this work? *Note: On the account the name is fake, address is fake, and everything else is fake, but the card number. (I made the account a while ago and I used to do that with everything on the internet because I didn't trust anyone.). Thanks for any help. They will recall the money and give it to the bank to give back to their customer. You will most likely not get banned but they might ask you to fax your ID to them so they can verify your account. But with that if you don't supply them the information in so long they will give you the option to withdraw your money...if there is any. I'm kinda asking more of the lines on what they will do if the balance goes negitive. Right now my paypal only had about $40ish dollars in it and if it goes to negitive $210 will they try and go after me. All they have is my debit card, but everything else is fake. Could I just drop this paypal account and ignore them? Well if you have provided proof of service they will most likely will do nothing, But if the other guy is still bothering with it I would get a new debit card and ignore them.
