Hey guys i just got my comp back and with Photoshop CS3 again fixed. This was my first image since i made once my comp got back. How would u rate it out of 10. 1 being lowest and 10 being highest. Thanks.

I'd give it a 5, but i like the background color combination. You could improve on the guy on the left by using to the pen tool to cut him out, and you could use a filter effect that flows nicely with the background colors. And for the the Font of "Robin" could be changed to add more style. You can get awesome fonts at "dafont.com".

well this was the original image of archimonde

and how would i do a filter effect using cs3 photoshop?

PS: thanks for your feedback i am still an amataur and need any teaching possible

Hmm I see the original image was already like that so you couldn't do anything about cutting that any better, but what you could do is use some mist, clouds, or lights that cover up the edges to make it look cleaner. To do a filter effect, first select the layer you would like modify and go to filter and select and effect you would like to use. Try to play around with the effects to make it blend with the overall image. I would suggest using a Threshold on your image of archimonde and then blending it with the background. To use a threshold go under "Image"-"adjustments" - then "Threshold" and play around with that till you like it.

To be really honest, I don't really like it. It's just that .. that gradient on the typography is plenty, with the white you can hardly read anything on such a rather weird background. About that background, the mountains are barely visible, as for the brushes and whatnot are far too focused. Render > Brushes, remember that. Know that it looks better if your focus is at 25% (or 75% for that matter) of the images width and height, thus giving a real good impression and having the image not overwhelm but calm down the observer.
