We think Davante Adams has done enough for his career to warrant a spot in Club 99 at Madden 22’s launch to start the season. Last season, Adams led the league in receiving with 115 receptions, 1,374 yards and 18 touchdowns. But if the quarterback play suffers, Adams’ stats will suffer.

DeAndre Hopkins (WR, Arizona Cardinals)

We can all agree DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best receivers in the league. Hopkins tied his career-high for receptions (115) while recording 1,407 receiving yards.

Like Davante Adams, Hopkins also began Madden 21 outside of Club 99. He did start with a launch rating of 98, but it took him until Week 10 to get into the prestigious club. In the end, Hopkins finished with a 99 overall with 91 speed, 91 acceleration, 92 agility, 99 awareness and 99 catch. Hopkins will almost certainly begin the season with a 99 rating in Madden 22. As long as Hopkins remains healthy, he’ll be the primary target in Arizona. He’ll get his receptions and yards to increase the touchdowns.

Aaron Donald (DE, Los Angeles Rams)

Last year’s NFL Defensive Player Of The Year, Donald is about as sure as it comes to getting into Club 99. Donald has consistently been the best defensive player in the league, earning the Defensive Player of the Year award three times in four years.

In seven years in the league, Donald has amassed 85.5 sacks. But Donald’s impact on the defensive side of the ball doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet.
