How can you guys let a fake middleman account exist for almost 1 full week to scam and manipulate people like me just trying to do an honest sale? Now the most valuable fifa Origin account ever sold has been stolen from me, which was easily worth $2000+ but I priced to sell very fast at 1000 instead. Now its just all gone. Is there anything we can do. I feel so betrayed, I trusted this website and your reviews and believed this website was legit and safe. I didn't think I will be scammed by an official looking user with your middleman title who started private conversation threads on your own website. This is wrong.
Plz note - in the pictures his name doesn't appear and his avatar shows as "banned" this was NOT the case before Before his name was Middleman and the avatar said "Verified" in green letters It looked very legit

Thanks. Like i said i know now its a fake middleman. I know the real is legit. But i hope the website will protect me at least partially as this scammer is a registered user for 1 month before being banned and was allowed to use the middleman name and do this to me in a way that looked legit

In terms of protection, we put a big warning message inside your conversation ticket. Every user can see it. You clearly read it, saw it, and clicked x to get out of it.
How does that warning make it clear in any way that a user named middleman who uses THIS WEBSITES private conversation tool to fake a successful sale could be a scammer? You warn of off-site scams and you say to only trust @Middleman account his name was middleman, and YOU guys allowed him to exist for over 1 month as an active account named Middleman, probably trying to scam many others. He had a verified avatar and spoke exactly like your middleman .Why would you allow a fake user named Middleman to exist? Why wouldn't you filter new account signups and flag anyone using a name like Middleman or anything close to that? How could it take you an entire month to find this guy and ban him only after he stole my account? You're trying to deflect liability and blame me. I can clearly see where this is going. Of course I made a mistake. It doesn't change that your website is woefully unsafe and unguarded in cases like this and essentially created a trap for me. If you want to leave me out to dry, fine, but in that case I will be spreading the message far and wide of how laughably unprofessional this website is, how plagued and infested it is with scammers to the point where you guys can't even competently warn sellers of the possible scams, and how you guys will abandon sellers after they are robbed and scammed. I will show all evidence on reddit including your cold response in this thread which I've already screenshotted. Again, you only warn of off-site messages and messages from people besides @Middleman, but the person scamming me was NAMED middleman, so how am I supposed to know the difference between this middleman and @Middleman? Why wouldn't you guys have a more professional interface for this to take place where its not occurring in private conversations that look the same as any DM? Your procedures are completely inadequate. If you continue playing the blame game and shoving it off onto me, thats fine, I understand you're not legally liable to protect me, nor am I legally liable for anyone who decides not to use your website because I showed them evidence that you guys have no control over your scammers and no sympathy or protection for your sellers when a 1000$ account is stolen from them.
Your first response is complete nonsense I AM THE SELLER, NOT THE BUYER How on earth would I have his full name/address? I would never have that information dealing with a middleman, I would only provide a paypal email and get paid which is what I expected. I've obviously opened a ticket to restore the account but as it was an account I purchased from someone else I won't have the original email info likely AND I DID NOTHING OFFSITE, he scammed me using YOUR private conversation tool. it was a 3 way conversation between me, middleman, and a buyer he listed as acc2sale, in a conversation opened on this website. it all looked VERY legit and you can keep blaming me but thats your fault for allowing such convincing scammers to exist on your website and not make the process more simple and clear to avoid such scammers. Its clearly obvious you're going to do nothing for me. I'm going to screenshot all evidence including the scammer and your horrible response and warn people far and wide on reddit and social media to avoid this website as its infested with very convincing scammers who you guys allow to run around for months before finally banning. I've already heard the warnings that this website is mainly legit but should be avoided due to all the scammers - now I learned the hard way - I will make sure people know just how corrupted this website is and to avoid it.
