Provide All Chat Logs and Additional Information Below This morning, the Hearthstone account I purchased from Gio Sharp was changed to a different email. I did not request this change and do not have access to the email it was changed to. I had a mobile authenticator attached to this account and there was no attempted sign in via the Authenticator. The only way that the email of my account could have been changed is through the filing of a ticket via Blizzard support. The ticket requests government ID to match the name on file with the account with the account name. As you will see in the attached email that notified me of the change in email ownership of the account, Gio's name is listed. Because he would have Gio (or Giovanni) sharp listed on his government ID, Blizzard would have accepted him as the original owner of this account. The email was changed to a German email address (see the .de extension) and as all my location data and personal information shared proves. I reside in North America, nowhere near Germany. I would have no reason to possess a German email address. Gio Sharp resides in the Netherlands, however he told me via a conversation on Battle.net (he added me on his other account after the sale) that he resides in Germany as well and returned to the Netherlands at the start of the Covid pandemic. He also went out of his way via Discord to learn of the exact email address I changed the sold account to (I will include that evidence below. Blizzard asked for information on the last known email address when sending a recovery ticket using government ID). As for circumstantial evidence, there was a report made against Gio Sharp on playerup one week ago accusing him of taking another account back. I will include a link and screenshot of that report below. The same Discord tag was used for both of our conversations with Gio) https://www.playerup.com/conversati...tion-id-922215948-3-way-conversation.1891200/ (middleman transaction with Gio Sharp)
@Help I've spoken to Gio directly via Discord and he is aware of the dispute I have opened. I dmed him a link to this conversation, but he has chosen not to reply so far. As I will show you in screenshots from our most recent conversation, he claims he is an account reseller and that the account must have been retrieved by its previous owner. As you can see from the email notifying me of the change in email addresses owning the account, the account was under the first name of Gio. He also repeatedly claimed to me in our earlier talks regarding my purchase of the account, that it was his own personal account that he was selling. Now he is claiming it previously belonged to someone else. He has been provably dishonest with me since the beginning of our transaction.
Well he clearly wrote that he personally owns the account. Suspension has been placed on @Gio Sharp's account. Do you remember if you included an insurance package back when you made the order for this?
I believe I did purchase maybe a 6 month insurance package, but I can not say for sure and could not find any information about it. The Middleman service does come with a buyer protection though, correct?
@Help @Middleman I do appreciate that it is around the holidays and you are likely busy with other matters, but what would be the expected timeline for a resolution of this dispute?
@Help @Middleman Still waiting on a resolution. It's been over 2 months since I've opened this thread..
@Help @Middleman @Support I understand that you are all likely busy, but we are nearing three months since I opened this thread and I have not received any resolution from the Middleman. Even if you were not willing to provide me some compensation, at least a response explaining why would have been appreciated. I'm not going to attempt to contact any moderator again and will more than likely use a different service to buy future accounts. I'd like to believe your team is genuinely busy and planning to review my claim, but it appears that I am being intentionally avoided. Thank you.
